I'm curious to find out a bit more about net attendance both in the HF and the VHF/UHF space.

There are also trader's nets, vintage nets, brand speicific nets.

Thanks Bill. I should have added those, indeed. Ooops.

Eleven years in the hobby, no-code Amateur Extra, and I still haven't made an HF contact.  So I operate on MVARC's K4US repeater (146.655 MHz), FM for ten years, now C4FM digital, too.  On our Tuesday evening net, Bob  KT4KS  leads the FM net, then Ken  W4RUS leads the digital net.  Back when I first got on FM, I lurked on some other clubs' nets -- maybe a dozen times, total -- since then, just K4US.

In my own twisted way I find this kind of admirable. I really believe that this hobby is intended to fulfill each and every one of us in our own way. I, for example, know a Canadian ham who has been licensed for 60 years. In his 60 years, the only QSOs he has ever ever had, was on 20M CW. He has never gone on another band and never picked up a mic. Incredible, right?
