I have not got around to reading this book but it has overwhelming reviews.  Ground breaking is too mild a word.  Definitely on my bucket list.

Several of the Fokker DVII survive, including the NASM sample, but Canada has the only one left, if they have not touched it yet, of a Fokker DVII with the original fabric, intact and unpainted!

France has Guynumer's SPAD 7 with original fabric, and I think the British have one or two WWI planes with original fabric.

Canada? How? Who? Where? I found one at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum but it's painted.
