Novice vs. Technician

I can't find the answer, not definitively anyway.

Are novice and technician privileges identical or not? If so, what are the exact differences?

Anyone know??

They are not the same.

They are not identical.

Both licenses have privileges on 80, 40 15 and 10 meters.  

Technicians also have privileges on 6 meters and above.
