A friend came over and help me install the radio today, and he had this crimping tool. I was surprised by how well it worked. I would share it with everyone.

Seems excellent. I'll post it in our reviews section so that it can get reviewed. My only regret is that it does not seem to handle Powerpole contacts which, for us hams, is a key need. It would be good to write to them to see if they want to build it in, it would open up the tool to the broader ham community.

I usually solder my power pole connections so far so good. Just be sure to use as little solder as possible cuz it's very easily blocks the connector connection.
