  1. The 17 meter add-on antenna manual states the bottom aluminum extension arm should be mounted 1" above the bottom of the antenna (Page 12) The 12 meter add on attenna manual states the bottom alumiinum extension arem should be mounted 2-3/4" above tje bottom of the antenna (Page 9) The 17 meter manual states that the 12 and 17 aluminum extension arms can be mounted together using the same clamps.. And, to set the clamps as described in the 17 meter antenna manual. They also state the instaructions supersedes the instructions in the DXE 12M manual. That means DXE feels it is acceptable to mount the 12 meter antenna at the same level as the 17 meter antenns which is 1" above the bottom of the antenna as per the 17 meter manual. (Page 12) I will mount the 12 and 17 meter antennas as per the 17 meter antenna manual suggest and see what happens. Bill KB2GF
  2. Has member of the Forum installed a 12 and/or 17 meter add-on antenna to a Hustler BTV antenna that is using the old style DXE tilt over fixture? Did you run into any issues concerning interferance between the lower clamps on the add on antennas and the old style DXE tilt over fixture? If so, how did you work around the issue.? Bill KB2GF
