So what mode was Glen using with his 817? CW? SSB? Or one of those new fangled digity modes?

Hi Lind @WA2WMR. Not sure what this shot was but I'm fairly sure it was WSPR. Let's ask @KW4TO... All I know is that we were all super impressed by the antenna considering the wind, the problems setting it up, and how short lasted our testing was. Alan and I spoke yesterday about wanting to retest it sooner rather than later.

Mode was WSPR - This is how the detection propagation map was generated. Automated reporting stations around the world receive the signal and then report it back to a central database. It is specifically designed for monitoring propagation of weak signals. The above map was created with 5 W output from the 817.
