Administrator K3MRI 153 Posted November 24, 2022 Clean, sufficient, warm. I like it. I am especially attracted to the fountain pen ink, the feather, the WWF calendar, and most definitely the straight key which looks like it needs a forklift to pick up. Thanks for posting Lind. Link to comment

Thanks for posting Lind. It does. It's about 4 lbs. The only down side to it is cleaning the contacts. If you look at the arch under the big knob it the rear you'll find the contacts under there. It's a real bear to get something in there to clean them. The pen holder (that looks like a revolver cylinder for some kind of super magnum) contains a Mont Blanc which I found just after buying a Waterman to replace it after not being able to find it for a few years. I use them for checks, logs and QSL cards. (on the back - the blue ink on a yellow text box on a black background doesn't look good. For filling in the QSO info on the front of the card, I sue the black uni-ball that is on the left side just forward of the feather - which I found on our rear deck a few years ago) The lamp is an old kerosene railroad lamp that my parents had for as long as I remember. It had been converted to an electric lamp but never used. A few years ago I rewired it and now use it when I am at that desk. The photo on top of the IC-750 is my wedding picture. Link to comment
Administrator K3MRI 153 Posted November 26, 2022 Have you ever considered making, buying, commissioning a plexiglas cover for the key the way I have my Vibroplex? I find it really works nicely. Link to comment
