Greetings! As Brendan's new assistant for VWS public service event support, the first thing he did was to hand me the coordination of club support to the James Madison High School Band 17th Annual Vienna Turkey Trot 5K/10K and Fun Run scheduled for Sunday, 24 November.
This is a great opportunity to practice HT skills in a low stress directed net environment as well as providing visible amateur radio support to the community.
We're looking for 12-15 volunteers for about 3 hours on Sunday, 24 November starting at 0730. Please let me know soonest if you can help by sending me an e-mail at magnotti1@gmail.com
